To be like God

An oyster must tear to have a pearl,
The sky must rain before there is a rainbow,
A mother must pain,
And then a baby will be born.

The trials and the troubles we must face,
The hidden hurts and pasts deep down within us,
The things we should have,
And yet they’re taken away.
