Ironies

v.1

Her heart is aching,

Though luckily not breaking,

And she’s thankful that she doesn’t have no turning.

v.2

Yet still she shivers,

When he’s name is mentioned,

And she thinks of the dreams,

All the longings.

Chorus

She thinks of his smiles,

Every little word that they shared,

When she stared into his eyes,

Just like forever.

The times she lay on her on her bed,

Talking to him like he’s listening.

Now it’s over,

It won’t return.

v.3

He’s gone her way,

And soon she’d be on hers,

Let’s wish her good luck,

Until she sings again.

We know that these would make her stronger.

She's but a girl

verse
She's but a girl,
not so ready yet,
She's but a girl,
she still has to wait.
She's but a girl,
Long is the time before God set.
Let them give each other freedom,
Let them give each other space.

Bridge
If he falls in another love someday,
She's perfectly okay.
She's but a girl,
What can she say?

Chorus
But if they hold on,
Their love may pay,
But what may happen before that day,
She's but a girl she won't know what may lay.

She loves him anyway.
